This past weekend, we went up to New York! It was FANTASTIC! We went and saw a broadway show, Grease, which was super duper fun. I loved it. We also went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and saw where Claudia and her brother hid out in the Mixed up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankinwieler. My favorite exhibit was the old french period rooms. We got to see bedrooms that french noblewoman slept in! I also liked the 360 degree painting of Versailles in France. It was amazingly detailed. It felt like you were actually standing there! On the last day, we went over to the Statue of Liberty. That was pretty neat! We also went over to Ellis Island which was really cool because we studied it in fifth grade, and now I got to see where all the immigrants came in! What made it great was the fact that my awesome aunt was there as our tour guide. New York was a trip to remember.
