YEAH!!! Finally, the weather has cooperated and we can make an extended ocean run, which means

we might just make it to Ft. Lauderdale for Thanksgiving after all. Dave has done a longer ocean passage when we moved the boat from Stuart, Fl to the Chesapeake Bay. However, Ayla and I have only been in the open ocean once, for about 8 hours. It’s all very exciting!

Just to be safe we are all taking Bonine, a sea sickness medicine. Every little bit helps in creating a successful first experience. 🙂 Depending on which inlet we go into in Florida, it should be between a 35 to 45 hour run. Excitement and nerves are high!
