Usually, decorating for my favorite holiday takes up to a whole week. Christmas trees to be bought, lights to be strung, wreaths to be hung, and many, many other holiday things. This time? 5 minutes. We took the 2-foot-tall fake tree out of the box, put a star on top, got out the blanket, and turned on a Christmas movie. However, even without all the fancy decorations and the snow, it still feels like a good Christmas.
i also love to decorate!

Hi Ayla,
Greeting from New Baltimore, MI. You are so right, Christmas is not about the decorations. It is about being with family and friends. My dad and I will be having Christmas dinner at your grandma’s house, which I look forward to every year. We will be missing and thinking about you guys.
By the way, while you are missing the snow I am missing the sun. It is a balmy 30 degrees here. Brrrr . . Trade ya. 🙂
