What an amazing day! WOW! Today with our friends Lisa and Denise, we took our dingys over, got in our wetsuits, and got ready for our first Bahamian snorkel. We were going to go to the Sea Aquarium, place where there are so many fish, that it is really like an aquarium. I jumped out into the bahamian water and swam into the bay like area where we were surrounded on three sides by sharp coral.
It was true. The fish here outnumbered all the people on every island surrounding it. There were sergeant majors that came right up to you, stoplight parrotfish that bit off huge chunks of coral, grouper that hung nonchalantly in the crevices, sea cucumbers that rested on the bottom, and blue tang that darted every which way. When you are underwater, you feel like you are really in a whole new world, and all the stress disappears. Truly magical.
