I planned on writing a blog about our amazing time at the Island School, but Ayla just posted hers, and it captures the spirit of the place better than I could (check out Ayla’s blog).  She also filmed a From the Pilothouse there, which should be posted within the next couple of weeks. I have just two things to add:

1. The Cape Eleuthera Foundation encompasses The Island School, the Cape Eleuthera Institute and Deep Creek Middle School.  The vision and dedication of Pam and Chris Maxey to creating this unique environment in just ten years is an inspiration to all of us

who have dreams of helping to make a difference in the world.

2. The faculty and staff at the school are outstanding. They are a passionate team, eager to share what they are creating.  We truly appreciate the warm welcome they gave us.

My friend Sally Roper has been in touch with Bobbi Carlin who has given
her a lot of good info. re: their upcoming trip to Italy.
People here in Ala. are quite interested with your trip.
We’ve playing a lot of golf. The weather has been pretty good.
    Write or call soon!

Luv, me (I feel like I’m writing on a postcard!!)
